Mission, Vision, and Values
Unique Neuro has a mission to provide client-centered mental health care for Neurodivergent individuals. Our practice specializes in Neurodivergent-affirming care that welcomes teens and adults of all identities. Our well trained multi-modal clinicians are a team of passionate local professionals who recognize gaps in New Mexico’s mental health services for this population.
We are committed to therapeutically working with the Neurodivergent population by promoting and supporting their positive aspects and improving difficulties that this unique population faces.
Unique Neuro’s vision is to create a community for Neurodivergent people to encounter the opportunity in creating meaningful understanding of themselves and cultivating meaningful relationships with those around them who have similar life perspectives. We strive to help Neurodivergent people find self-understanding and self-acceptance while experiencing meaningful relationships with Neurotypical people.
Our team has developed and is always improving a unique set of resources to help expand Neurodivergent people’s ability to express themselves as they are and have been, and to help them find new and creative ways of manifesting who they have wanted to become.
Unique Neuro values meeting people where they are, by supporting meaningful and individualized clinical outcomes. We understand the need in having professionally supported and well-trained clinicians that can continuously evolve to meet their Neurodivergent clients’ individual needs.
Our program focuses on facilitating individual care that melds with group support and group education in order to enhance community functioning as a means of providing optimal care.
Our team is dedicated to offering compassionate services in a Neurodivergent-informed, trauma-informed and goal-oriented environment where individuals feel safe to be their authentic selves.
We strive to create a welcoming judgment-free community of care and trust.
